Dr. Graham F. Merry, MD. (Alumnus)

Dr. Graham Merry graduated in Medicine from the Royal London Hospital Medical College, United Kingdom in 1982. He  immigrated to Canada and obtained his Canadian Medical License in 1983  and worked as a general physician in several  provinces providing care to under-serviced communities.  He has taken  special interest in the ocular field.  Founder of Photospectra Health Sciences, he is the pioneer of our Barrie location.

Dr.  Merry, along with colleagues, have developed the use of PBM clinically in  North America. They have designed, instigated and published clinical  trial results showing improvement of vision and disease regression in  patients with dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD).  They have  co-founded two companies, one has treated patients clinically in Canada –  the first and only PBM treatment center for AMD in North America. The  other company has completed major clinical trials in Europe and the  North America for patients with AMD, the positive results have led to  European approval and FDA approval is expected very soon. 

Dr.  Merry has retired from clinical practice and we wish him the best in all future endeavours.  Although he is no longer practicing, he is excited and  committed to providing  a safe, effective, accessible and affordable PBM device for home use.  Check out arunalight.com!
